Arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins to allow yourself time to settle into the space and your mat, especially if you are a new student. Remove shoes when entering our studio: our studio is our Shala, our home, and we ask that you respect the space and your fellow practitioners by not tracking in the dirt from your day and by placing shoes and all belongings in cubbies next to the front door.

The less you bring to your mat, the less distracted you are and the more you can focus on your practice. Inform your teacher if you have any injuries, concerns, physical limitations or are pregnant. Do not eat 1-2 hours prior to class and come in hydrated.
