A few words about scheduling a class, arrival at the studio and studio policies:

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins to allow yourself time to settle into the space and your mat, especially if you are a new student. Instructors will be at the studio 15-30 minutes prior to class start.
  • Remove shoes when entering our studio: our studio is our Shala, our home, and we ask that you respect the space and your fellow practitioners by not tracking in the dirt from your day and by placing shoes in cubbies next to the front door.
  • Please leave all personal belongings and cell phones in cubbies. The less you bring to your mat, the less distracted you are and the more you can focus on your practice.
  •  Online reservations are not required but highly recommended to guarantee space as classes fill up quickly. Sign up through Mindbody here or use the Mindbody Connect App.
  • Please inform your teacher if you have any injuries, concerns, physical limitations or are pregnant.
  • Please do not eat 1-2 hours prior to class and come in hydrated; if you must eat, eat light.
  • We have filtered water available to fill up your personal water bottle or borrow a cup from us. We also have mats for rent but encourage you to purchase your own.
  • Doors are locked once class begins.
  • If you have to leave during class, please let the teacher know before class starts and leave quietly and without any fuss to allow the other students to remain focused and engaged in the practice.
  • Some of our classes are challenging. Please be mindful to not push yourself too hard. Yoga is a practice, not a competition. If you find yourself struggling, come to child’s pose on your mat, drink some water and relax, or have a seat on the bench by the bathroom. We do not judge and will always be supportive of your personal journey. Be kind to yourself.
  • Once you sign up for a class online, please note that a no-show or a late cancellation will be charged for the missed class. (Any cancellation that is made within an hour prior to class start is considered a late cancellation.
  • Students under 18 require parental consent and must fill out a parental consent form.
